In college I had a lot of virgins coming on to me. Apparently I had a reputation as a good lover, who was considerate and non-judgemental. They knew they would be treated, would feel special, and I wasn’t going to brag to friends.

If a girl had remained a virgin by college, I knew, more than anything, she wanted to lose that stigma – to get it over with, to see what the big deal was, etc. NOT a relationship.

I suppose, there may have even been some virgins that never told me. Who knows.

You’re right, there are a lot of people who are non virgins who don’t share my opinions. That’s part of the reason why I wrote this article, to enlighten them. I’ve heard so many stories of women being virgins until marriage and then cheating on their men like crazy. This post is about de-romanticizing the idea of virginity in both men and women.

This still remains one of the most pathetic things i’ve ever come across. Honestly, why would you even criticize virginity? If you are so satisfied with your own sex life, why not let others be? I mean, have any virgins been knocking at your door? It sounds like you have no problems finding women who are ”experienced” enough, correct?
Then leave others alone. It’s really not that difficult.

Virgins are deriving pleasure from self denial in the same way that the depressed take pleasure from self pity. It’s not healthy and I don’t need it in my life. And yes, most of these women have sexual issues and lack confidence. Most people in this world lack healthy egos and self esteem, I don’t know anyone who would dispute that.

I’m sure a lot of virgins are staying chaste because they’re religious, but I’m incredibly turned off by that as an atheist. So again, not for me. She can go find another guy to pop her cherry and put up with her bullshit, there are too many women in the world for me to waste energy on it.
